QUOTE afraid What would you do if you weren't afraid?  Would you get a new job, sell your car, sing out loud, move to another country? Would you make a font of your handwriting and share it with the world? I've toyed with that idea for years, and this summer I finally met just the right person to collaborate with (introduced to me out of the blue by, wait for it...my high school crush). I'm so excited to finally spill the beans!  I'll keep you in the loop and let you know just as soon as it's available for purchase. Download today’s quote by clicking on this link: September Quote 23 Today’s free download is four pages: my terms of use (which explain what you can & can’t do with this free artwork), a black and white 3×4 card, a color 3 x 4 card, and a black and white 4×6 card. Both sizes have a strip along the bottom with my copyright. Feel free to trim that off if it works better for your project. etsy-versary As you already know, I'm celebrating seven years on etsy with a handwritten quotation download every day.  (If you're like me, you don't actually read blogs every single day and it's easy to forget to check in.  Leave a comment on any post & check the box afterwards to subscribe.  You'll get an email notice whenever I post—daily in September, about once a week the rest of the year.) Or, go back and see what you missed right here. Today when you leave a comment you'll be entered in my etsy-versary giveaway:  win a handwritten prize pack worth up to $50. I'll choose one winner each from the blog comments, from Facebook, and from Instagram.  Leave a comment here telling me What is the last anniversary you celebrated?  (Your birthday? Your work anniversary? The day you adopted your pet?) Be sure to leave your comment by Monday, September 28th.  I'll announce the winner on Tuesday next week. Good luck!

  21. Kellie says:

Love your work!!! Ooo… The last anniversary we celebrated was a really hard one. A week ago Saturday marked the 2 year anniversary of my 4 year old son passing away. We went to the lake and rented a cabin, boat and jet skis, and invited some friends to come along. There is something very healing for me about being on the lake and my other kids love it!! Well I’ve probably shared too much but I guess I wear my emotions on my sleeve.

Happy Etsy-versary! The last anniversary we celebrated was one of our dogs’ birthdays. (We have 4 living with us, and they all get parties. Of course, every day is a dog party when you have 4 dogs.) Our little puppy mill rescue turned 11 on Sept. 14. She’s a 6.5 pound black long-haired chihuahua / pomeranian mix. No teeth, but our local bakery has “pupcakes” that are soft enough for everyone with 4 legs!

  31. Jeanne says:

    Hi Gina!

Congrats on 7 years!!! That’s so amazing. I have trouble sticking to projects for 7 months let alone years. You were spot on–the last “anniversary” I celebrated was my dog’s birthday, July 31st. But it was really Cowboy’s adoption day 5 years ago since we’re not sure when his actual birthday is. So glad he’s a part of our family 🙂

    Congrats again!
