My favorite creative activities are card making and gardening with perennials and herbs. So happy that Spring has arrived, so that I can enjoy both of my passions! Heartfelt gratitude from the Week 1 winner! I love how you share handmade kindness, Gina! ♡

  19. Melanie says:

I never thought I’d say it, but cooking has become my favorite creative activity! I come from a long line of “non-cooks,” so I came to adulthood/marriage with very little experience or ambition to learn. However, my husband is very good at throwing tasty meals together and has been extremely supportive of my attempts! Just the last year or two, I’ve found more enjoyment in trying new recipes, tweaking them to my taste and generally just enjoying the feeling of providing tasty and healthy food for my family. I enjoy other creative endeavors (hand lettering, paper crafts, painting furniture, decorating, gardening …) but cooking is the one I do most consistently at this point in my life.
