Here's a recap of my holiday stitching projects: stitching recap 06 by gina sekelsky studio stitching recap 07 by gina sekelsky studio This is a skirt I made for the lovely Juliet.  Can't wait to get a photo of her wearing it, because she looks splendid in it (and actually likes it, which I was really on the fence about).  The underside looks pretty awesome too: stitching recap 08 by gina sekelsky studio After I finished that up, I started on a big project for myself: stitching recap 01 by gina sekelsky studio I used the same stencil with a few more details added.  I'm really working at making a more asymmetrical stencil for stitching.  My tendency is to make equal space between all the shapes, and that isn't always visually dynamic.  This is the closest I've come to the goal so far! stitching recap 09 by gina sekelsky studio stitching recap 04 by gina sekelsky studio Then when I started to get bored with the monotony of this stitching, I started another skirt for J, using a quote from John Green's The Fault in Our Stars: stitching recap 05 by gina sekelsky studio stitching recap 03 by gina sekelsky studio stitching recap 02 by gina sekelsky studio I'm currently working on adding a pocket to this one, then it's back to my own shirt.  Progress!
