planner peek by gina sekelsky studio I'm loving every minute of making my new downloadable planner pages.  Putting handwriting, organization, and intention together is where I shine!  The set that will be available for sale next week is a school-year planner (August 2015 - July 2016) and is 8-1/2" x 11".  I vetted it with my daughter, who'll be a senior in high school this year, to make sure it has everything she needs:  plenty of space to write each day, a monthly grid, lists for each month, and extra pages for planning and note-writing.  Over 130 pages total!  Look for purchase details (and a bonus, of course) next week. BOOK rebecca ringquist by gina sekelsky studioMy book pick this week is Rebecca Ringquist's Embroidery Workshops.  I love her modern take on embroidery projects, especially her use of color and texture.  When I first started brainstorming project ideas for Studio Yearbook Two (before I even finished Studio Yearbook One), "handwritten embroidery" was pretty high up on the list.  This book inspired me to get going on that project (though I still can't get myself to bother with an embroidery hoop).  You can learn more about Rebecca on her site and in this interview on While She Naps. light gray stitching by gina sekelsky studio Summer means a little more time to watch movies with the family...which means more stitching time for me!  I'm on the very last seam of this reverse appliqué + embroidery raglan sleeve top.  I hope to share the finished project next week!

So excited about the calendar! I’m hoping I will be able to size it down a bit for my various calendar sizes. Cannot wait!

This may sound like a silly questiin, but for those of us who are old school and have never had a ‘downloadable’ planner, do we print these off and put them in a binder or what? I was thinking, or hoping it would fit in my (large) purse. I’m curious…
