goethe quote by gina sekelsky studioThis week I've been working on artwork to add some new quotes to the shop.  Other than my Quote of the Month Club, I haven't done much with selling quotes as artwork in the last couple of years.  Creating new lettering gives me the chance to connect with my work and with my customers.  I'll let you know as soon as I've got a few things for sale. black hat by gina sekelsky studio I've been commissioned to make a couple of hats this month.  Here's the first, in progress.  It's black on black, with dark grey paint and smoky grey bugle beads.  Elegant and eclectic at the same time, my favorite!  (Learn how to make your own in Studio Yearbook One.  And yes, hat kits will be in the shop...eventually.) monthly planner by gina sekelsky studio I'm always looking for ways to make my planning pretty.  Who's with me in the I-love-lists-club?  I like to start each month with a list of what needs to get accomplished, and if I can write on a cool template, I'm that much more likely to do it.  This version is personalized for me, but there's a downloadable one in Studio Yearbook One that may work for you.  I'm just surprised I got halfway through the month before I did it.  That's January for you. pulled pork from studio yearbook one Last night's dinner:  No. 42 Pulled Pork.  I've been using this recipe -- love that I generally have the ingredients on hand in the pantry, it doesn't use highly processed foods, and the house smells awesome when you come home at the end of the day. One Response to This week: planning, pork and…handwriting.

  1. list maker here! and a planner…i am ALWAYS on the look out for a personalized planner…the one i bought for 2015 came from erin condren…it’s pretty, colorful (a must for me!) and fun…my only complaint…i wish it was in a small notebook rather than a spiral…then i could add my own pages. i LOVE the one in your book btw!
