hand-dyed by gina sekelsky studio Only ten more days until my trunk show!  I'm having fun reorganizing my studio and imagining so much of my work all together in one place, at one time.  When I first had the idea for the show, I envisioned months of slaving over new work.  But as I thought more about it (and yes, stitched some new pieces), I realized it was a great opportunity to show off what's already in my closet. Over the next ten days I'll be sharing some photos here on the blog, especially for those of you who live too far away to see my work in person.  Some of these items are from my personal collection and some are samples that will be for sale.  Any samples that don't sell, I will offer online.  And of course, I take custom orders for both hand-stitched garments and DIY kits. Today's sneak peek is a top I made from bits of about half a dozen hand-dyed t-shirts stitched together, and then embellished with paint & embroidery.  Although it is made of my favorite colors, they didn't suit me in the end & I've never really worn it.  My loss is your gain: it's a sample for sale.  (I'm still working out pricing for everything, but if you see anything over the next ten days that you're really interested in, drop me a line.) hand-dyed detail by gina sekelsky studio
