bernadetteI started reading this book with no idea how much I would love it by the end.  It seems a simple read:  a satire of Subaru-driving helicopter parents in Seattle (one of them a little wackier than the rest).  But there are layers here.  And good humor.  I've still got it on my nightstand, even though I've finished reading it, because I don't want to return it to the library and say goodbye to these characters (especially the wacky one).  If you're looking for a book that's easy to get into, could probably be read in a weekend (if you were a faster reader than me), and stays with you, Where'd You Go, Bernadette is the book for you.

    Glad you enjoyed it Gina.

It was on the list you sent out to us, and my friend Shannon has a copy so loaned it to me when I mentioned it to her. I LOVED it. Stayed up late two nights in a row to finish it. Was so pleased that it didn’t have a sad ending. I’m so not into that!
